Prerequisites

You must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course.

There are no formal entry requirements for this certificate and learners are not required to have any prior experience of coaching.

Learners must be at least 16 years of age at the point of registration of this certificate.

You will be asked to provide formal photographic identification on the first day of your course. Click herefor more information.

Details

There is on site accommodation available for this course in the well-equipped student village at Queen Ethelburgas College.  The residential option is highly recommended as the days will include early starts and some late finishes.  

The cost of accommodation including all meals will be £55 per person/ per night.  (based on up to 3 sharing) For anyone not wishing to to take the residential option there is a £20 per day onsite fee charged by Queen Ethelburgas or £25 per day if you require lunch.

Description

The Swim England Synchronised Swimming Assistant course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be a Synchronised Swimming Assistant (Coaching).

This course is designed for anyone who wants to take the first step to becoming a Synchronised Swimming coach or those interested in supporting a Synchronised Swimming coach in a club environment.

As an aspiring coach this course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to actively support a more experienced Synchronised Swimming coach, in the delivery of a pre-prepared session

Assessment
